In order to import a catalog from a spreadsheet, you must first convert the spreadsheet to a Comma Seperated Value file (CSV). You can do this by following the tutorial below:
- Make sure your spreadsheet contains the columns of Name, Color, Secondary Color, Brand, Collection, Finish, Special Effect, Size, Price, Owned/Wanted, and Empty.
NOTE: The heading names for the columns mentioned above are not important, but there must be 11 columns. Having empty values in some columns is okay as long as all 11 columns are in the spreadsheet.
- Reorder the columns as necessary so that they are in the following order: Name, Color, Secondary Color, Brand, Collection, Finish, Special Effect, Size, Prize, Owned/Wanted, and Empty, as shown in Figure 1.
NOTE: Make a copy of your spreadsheet and reorder the columns of the copy if you prefer the original order of your spreadsheet.

- Save your spreadsheet as a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. Go to "Save As" and, depending on your spreadsheet software, select "Other Formats" as shown in Figure 2. Then, select "CSV (Comma Delimited)" as the file type, as shown in Figure 3.
NOTE: Depending on your spreadsheet program, the option to save as a CSV may be under "Download as" or something similar.

- Rename the newly saved CSV file to the name "NPC_Import.txt" as shown in Figure 4.
Figure 4: Renaming the File
- Open the file "NPC_Import.txt" and delete the first row, which will be unnecessary column heading data, as shown in Figure 5. Save the changed file.
WARNING: It is extremely important that each entry in the import file is on a different line. If the spreadsheet program you are using doesn't automatically put each row of data on a separate line, you may have to do it yourself.

- Put the "NPC_Import.txt" file into the "SD Card/Nail Polish Cataloger/Saves" directory of your device.
- In the Nail Polish Cataloger app on your Android device, import the file into your catalog by pressing the "Import Catalog File" button located on the Extras page, as shown in Figure 6.

If you have followed all of the step above correctly, your nail polish collection should now appear in your catalog on the Nail Polish Cataloger app.
