Downplay Games is a company started by a group of friends with educational backgrounds in
technical fields. Our goal is to produce our own independent games; the kind of games we
ourselves like to play. We've all been fans of video games growing up, and now we finally have the knowledge and tools to make games of our own.
Tia and Kyle went to Beavercreek Elementary School together. They grew into good friends in
the 6th Grade and on through middle school. In their Senior year of highschool, Kyle and Tia
met and became friends with Tim. The three developed their friendship over many a game of Halo
on the computers of the electronics class room at lunch. Years later in Kyle's final year of
college, he was working on a term project for an OpenGL class. During this time, Tia was taking
a 3D modeling class. That is when they teamed up and Tia made some model's for Kyle's game project.
Some months later, they started to develop Android applications. Kyle programmed the games, Tia
made the graphics for them, and Tim started creating the team's website. Downplay Games was born.
